What maximum hydraulic line length is permitted?
The longer the lines are, the more pressure is needed to pump the lubricant. The pressure in the hydraulic lines limits the maximum length of the lines. The required quantities of lubricant cannot be pumped until if sufficient pressure is built up by the pump. The viscosity of the lubricant and the ambient temperature are decisive factors.
